About MNight

Held every year by the Warwick MSA, Malaysia Night is so much more than its name. Traditionally, one might call MNight a night of performances symbolising Malaysian culture in some form.

Such an understatement- MNight is so much more! It is about theater, it is about dance, about music, about the one time a society gets together to put all their heart and soul and talent to create a work of art that takes MNight way beyond being just about culture.

This year we bring to the stage an avant-garde adaptation of Puteri (Princess) Hang Li Po, a play on an age-old Malaysian legend. We fuse traditional elements with something modern, something personal from ourselves - whether it is the choreographer of a dance, music composer, or scriptwriter - thus turning it into something fresh.

So come join us and be dazzled by the sights and sounds that is Malaysia Night 2010.
